The importance of Moses, All the Prophets and the Psalms to Paul and the rest of the students of the Messiah!
For the scripture is saying: "Whoever believes in him shall not be ashamed." |
How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard and comprehended? and how shall they hear without a preacher? |
And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written: "How beautiful are the feet of them that preach Good News of good things! |
But they have not all listened to the Good News of the Scriptures. For Elijah is saying: "Lord Teacher, who has believed our account?" |
So then faith comes through hearing, and hearing and comprehending, through the Word - the life breath of Christ. |
But I say, have they not heard? Yes certainly, their voices went into all the Way, and their Words to the conclusion of the limits. |
But I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses is saying : I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people , and by a foolish nation I will angeryou." |
But through boldness Isaiah is saying: "I was found by them that did not seek me; I was made manifest to them that did not ask for me." |
God has not cast away his people which he foreknew . Do you not know what the Scriptureis saying of Elijah ? How he makes intercession to God against Israel, saying: |
"Lord Teacher, they have killed your Prophets , and demolished your tables , and I am left alone, and they seek my life." |
And David is saying: "Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence to them. |
Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see , and bend their back." |
To finish this section, which relates to the necessity of the Autobiography of the Messiah to obtain Salvation, let us look at a couple of the gems of both the Prophets and Paul. The greatest thing in life today is that we can have the same Scriptures, (Thanks to the Jews) and the same Spirit of Genius that the Prophets, and the Messiah, and of course the Students of the Messiah themselves had. To see and to 'observe', to hear and to 'comprehend' what the great men of yesteryear saw and beheld, is truly a marvellous privelidge. To have that same Spirit of Truth would enable one to interpret to anyone the Scriptures without a Bible with you - because it is as God Himself says: "I will engrave all My Words in your mind, and I will etch them on you right hand! In other words - what you know in your head you will know like the back of your own hand! Incidently, to engrave means to bury deeply, and delusion means to have false belief! Therefore we have either the Spirit of Scriptural Truth, or the spirit of delusion - ones knowledge in the Scriptures is the only guarantee of satisfying God - who says so? - God Himself through His Holy Prophets, and the Messiah, and the students of the Messiah - who 'needs' any more Truth! |
For even Christ did not please himself - but, as it is written: "The reproaches of them that reproached you fell on me." |
"For whatever things were written before our time were written for our learning, that we, through patience and Salvation of the Scriptures, might have hope." |
And do not live according to the pattern of this World: but you be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good, and acceptable, and perfect desire of God. |
For I say , through the grace entrusted to me, to every one that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think with a sound mind, according as God has dealt to every one the apportioned measure of faith. |
(Faith in the Scriptures increases in stages according what level of teaching one is on. The largest measures of faith (Fathers) are given to those who have proved themselves conquerers of the lusts of this World through meditation on the Autobiography of the Messiah - the Scriptures. It is obvious that the students of the Messiah have succeeded in mastering each footstep according to the level of instruction from their Teacher - the Holy Spirit). |
