Beginning from the baptism of John, to that day when he was carried up from us, must be conceived to be a witness with us of his resurrection |

But you are a chosen conception, a royal priesthood, a holy people, a peculiar people that you should demonstrate the Salvation of Him who has invited you out of the darkness into His astonishing light. |

As newborn infants, long for the unmixed milk, of the Word, that you may grow into Salvation |

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who appear under false pretences causing divisions, and in doing so - denying the Lord Teacher who ransomed them, and bring upon themselves swift damnation. |

And comprehend the patience of our Lord Teacher as salvation ; even as our dearest brother Paul, given authority and wisdom to him, has written to you, |

as also in all his letters speaking in them of these things in which are some things difficult to understand, which they that are unlearned and insincere distort and twist, as they do with all the Scriptures to their own damnation . |
